Dr. Joan Blackford-Heintz earned her doctorate from Life College in Marietta Georgia, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1988. Prior to her chiropractic education, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University, where she was a four year varsity athlete.
She holds certifications in physical rehabilitaion and extremity manipulation and focuses on auto accident injuries, sports injuries and geriatric care. Dr. Blackford-Heintz utilizes various gentle chiropractic techniques including Activator, Arthrostim, Sacral Occipital Technique, Thompson Drop Table, as well as Diversified/Gonstead.
Dr. Blackford-Heintz has enjoyed 20 years of chiropractic service in the Bradenton area.
